Bob Barr voted for the USA PATRIOT ACT, yet has said that he regrets that vote more then anything else in his congressional career. He has fought against the Patriot Act even before he left congress, and he did have a reason for actually voting for it. Ron Paul’s aid said they wanted a man on the inside to include the sunset clauses that allowed congress to vote for it again in 2005 (which is the day that Barack Obama voted for the Patriot Act).Find another reason to not support Bob Barr…the Patriot Act isn’t one of them.
